Paul McPike, a grocery store worker from Oregon, is claiming that he wrote the album when he was in college and performed tracks such as 'Jesus of Suburbia' to his friends whilst he was studying.
McPike reportedly said that a disgruntled friend leaked the material to the band and they subsequently used it as the basis for their album.
However, a judge ruled that the case would no be going to court due to insufficient evidence.
