Rock icons Queen have returned to the studio to record their first new material in 15 years.
Brian May revealed the news to fans on his official website, although admitted that there were no solid plans for an album as yet.
He wrote: "This is our first Queen new recording session for about fifteen years. It may turn into an album...it may lead elsewhere, but right now we are having fun."
He added, "it sounds pretty amazing to my ears...very different from anything Paul or Queen have ever done. And pretty epic!"
