Speaking ahead of a solo gig to launch Philips Fidelio speakers, the band's guitarist admitted that he is keen to record new material with the group, despite the "hectic" memories of his time in it.
He said: "I'm up for doing any of those things really. We're always going to be mates. We've had our ups and downs - we're four guys who are like brothers.
"It's only natural that'd we'd have fallouts and disagreements."
Reflecting on his time in Blur, he explained: "It's not all good memories. It was just so hectic. There was a lot going on with art, politics, etc. It was a very competitive time.
"I get that people are a lot more friendly and respectful in music today. I'm not sure why, but people tend to be more supportive today. Back then, it was cut-throat.
