Justin Bieber performs 'Boyfriend', 'Baby' on 'Today' - watch
The popstar sang his new hit single 'Boyfriend' as well as 'Baby' and 'All Around The World' for screaming fans as part of the Today Summer Concert Series.
Bieber also sat down for an interview with Matt Lauer, revealing that his new album Believe is all about proving his critics wrong.
"I'm 18 and have a lot of insecurities. At the end of the day, me being in my position doesn't get rid of those insecurities," he admitted to Lauer.
"I think [Believe] is about proving people wrong and going out there and making good music and going out there and performing better than everyone else.
"That's what I have to do to cross over. Or else I'll just be another teen heartthrob, and I want to be remembered."
Bieber also joked about recently suffering a concussion at a Paris concert when he accidentally walked into a glass wall.
"I'm pretty clumsy and I don't see glass walls… I think I wasn't wired to see glass walls," Bieber quipped, adding: "I'm all right. I've had concussions, I used to play hockey."
Bieber's performance on the Today Summer Concert Series comes just one week after Chris Brown entertained fans in Rockefeller Centre.
Kenny Chesney will take to the stage on Today next Friday (June 22).
