"I'm going to be heading to New York to work with the guys who did the original Motown records in the '60s to make a new album soon," Lott told the Daily Star.

The new collection will serve as the follow-up to Lott's 2011 record Young Foolish Happy, which reached number 18 on the UK chart.

Lott recently confessed that she would like to record a collaboration with Coldplay as she is a big fan of the Chris Martin-fronted band.
