Glade Festival closes with Pyro-mid stage burning - pictures

The Glade Festival finished at the weekend with the burning down of the wooden Pyro-mid stage.

The centrepiece moment was watched by 10,000 revellers who had travelled to this year's electronic music event at Houghton Hall, Norfolk.

Organiser Jo Vidler said: "Glade has blossomed in spectacular fashion this year into a must-attend event for any serious electronic music lover.

"Incredible state-of-the-art production, amazing music and most importantly one of the most up-for-it crowds in the country. Massive thanks goes out to all our Glade friends, both old and new."

Glade 2012 was headlined by Sven Vath, Andy C: Alive and Vitalic and featured performances from SL2, Dillinja, Ceephax Acid Crew and others across the bill.

"I would like to thank everybody @ Glade, I had a fantastic time with all of you!" said Vath. "Glade Festival is a top Experience, thanks for the invitation."

This year's four-day event featured the Meteor stage among its 14 arenas, boasting a "a total sensory overload experience".

Other stages included the 3D-sound system at the Origin Stage in the Psytrance Village, the woodland sets from the Secret Garden Party and the Rabbit Hole.
