The star will allegedly take to the stage on Saturday (June 23) to perform a track from her latest album A Million Lights, as well as perform new single 'Call My Name' with Calvin Harris.
"Cheryl has kept the appearance quiet because there were some planning issues to iron out, but she can't wait to appear with Calvin on stage," a source told The Mirror.
"The single has been a huge hit, and she's really enjoying performing it live for fans, but Radio 1's Hackney Weekend will be the biggest live performance of her new material yet.
"It will be a fantastic comeback to the UK performances ahead of the new tour dates which she has just announced."
Radio 1's Hackney Weekend is the BBC station's biggest ever free-ticketed event with 100,000 music fans attending across the weekend.
Jay-Z and Rihanna will headline the two-day event with further performances from Nicki Minaj, Kasabian, Leona Lewis, Jessie J and will.i.am.
Meanwhile, Cole is currently at number two on the midweek chart with new album A Million Lights, while Justin Bieber is 3,000 copies ahead at number one with Believe.
