Coxon to make Blur return?
Published Friday, Nov 3 2006, 15:30 GMT | By David Cribb
Blur bassist Alex James has revealed the band would welcome a return from Graham Coxon.
Guitarist Coxon left the band three years ago to pursue a solo career, but James now thinks there is a chance of the original line-up reuniting to record an album.
"I've got high hopes that Blur will have a happy four-piece ending," he told the BBC. "I think it would be a shame if it didn't really. I think we'd all like to make another record. We'd all like to do it with Graham. I've been talking to Graham a bit and hopefully I can persuade him. I'm going to have to beg him though."
James added that the band will continue to make music regardless, however. "One way or another, there'll be another Blur album, with or without Graham - but hopefully with Graham."
