Plan B slipped on stage during his BBC Radio 1 Hackney Weekend performance today (June 24).

The rapper managed to complete his gig this afternoon despite tough weather conditions, when he played during a heavy rainstorm.

"God decided to open up the skies," he said after his gig, "but we got through."

Plan B's setlist included his hits 'Stay Too Long' and 'Ill Manors'.

The musician - who is also an ambassador for the event - said of his hometown: "For so long, this part of the city has been deprived.

"It's great to see stuff like this happening here, because the people deserve it."

Jessie J took to the stage after Plan B, and said: "I was up there watching Plan B. It's not easy up here on the stage when it's raining."

Rihanna will headline tonight's event at around 9pm, after she made a cameo appearance during yesterday's set from Jay-Z.
