Alicia Keys unveils new track 'New Day' - listen

Alicia Keys has debuted a new song online.

The singer unveiled 'New Day' on her official Soundcloud page in anticipation of her upcoming fifth studio album.

Keys tweeted: "Here's that first taste of what I was talking about... It's a ‪#AKNewDay‬!!! Let's fly! (sic)."

The track was produced by her husband Swizz Beatz and will reportedly feature on the follow-up to 2009's The Element of Freedom.

The star recently admitted that she is "crazy excited" about her new LP, adding: "I am hungry, I am an animal right now. I am just ready to be set free in a whole other way.

"When it comes to sharing this music with you, I am like a caged animal that's dying to escape."
