Steven Tyler has said that the band's first album in nine years will be released on November 6 instead of the previously announced August 28.
"It's pushed back because too many people are releasing those weeks, and we don't want to step on their release dates," the American Idol judge told WMMS FM.
He continued: "We said, 'You know what, we got the goods, ain't no doubt about [it], we'll wait a couple months'."
Aerosmith have already unveiled the album's first track 'Legendary Child' and two more singles are expected to debut before the LP is released.
Tyler previously declared that he is "so happy" with Music from Another Dimension, adding: "[Our] album is like a wave, and you ride that album all the way and see what you got."
He has also claimed to have put aside any past animosity towards Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry.
Aerosmith are currently headlining the 'Global Warming' summer tour.
