The rapper is currently working on new material for his upcoming eighth studio album, having confirmed the follow-up to 2010's Recovery in May.
Speaking with DJ Whoo Kid on his Shade 45 radio show, Eminem said: "Yeah, of course he'll be involved.
"I usually get going and kind of start going a certain direction and just record what I'm feeling. Then I'll go see Dre and fill in some of those pieces."
The 'Not Afraid' star will tour Asia next month and his Shady Records label will release Slaughterhouse's long-awaited Welcome to: Our House LP on August 28.
Commenting on the death of the Beastie Boys star Adam Yauch, Eminem added: "It's really sad. It's really a shame. The Beastie Boys mean so much to hip-hop."
Ice-T described Eminem as a "scientist" in the recording studio in a recent interview.
