The singer-songwriter decided to halt collaborations last year, despite offers from big US stars, to work on his own debut record Electronic Earth.
Speaking about 'Treatment', which is the fifth single to be lifted from the collection, Labrinth told Digital Spy: "It's a record that, for me, everybody's been through that moment where love sends them a little bit crazy and I thought I needed to write about it."
The star also teased plans to work with Usher and others later this year.
Asked backstage at T4 On The Beach if he was going to start working on other artists' projects, Labrinth replied: "Without a doubt. I've been missing the studio a lot. I've even brought my own little studio to work here today!
"I did work with Usher and we had a great little session, so that should be happening really soon and there are loads of other artists."
