Owl City has announced a UK tour for this October.

Singer-songwriter Adam Young brings his third album to England this October with four live dates.

Tickets go on sale at midday this Friday, July 13 and are priced at £16.50 and £19.50 for London.

"Over the past several years I'd become fascinated with trying to capture magic in a jar through simple, concise pop songs," Young said of his upcoming album.

"I saw it as a great challenge to try to come up with catchy, unique, and memorable songs because it was a new method of songwriting I'd never approached before.

"I believe artists should never look back or repeat themselves and this was a new frontier for me."

The full tour dates are as follows
  • October 25 - HMV London Forum
  • October 26 - HMV Birmingham Library
  • October 30 - Manchester Academy 3
  • October 31 - O2 Academy Oxford 2
The first single from the album 'Good Time' features 'Call Me Maybe' singer Carly Rae Jepsen.

Owl City is best known for his breakthrough debut hit 'Fireflies', which topped the singles charts in the UK and US.
