The singer's second studio album Teenage Dream saw a sales increase of 451%, pushing the collection up to number two on the Billboard 200 chart.
The collection sold 76,555 copies over the past week, almost two years since it was originally released, according to Hits Daily Double.
However, Perry's film Part of Me failed to achieve similar success at the US box office, reaching number seven during its opening weekend with ticket sales of $7,150,000.
Meanwhile, the movie reached number four on the UK box office chart and number six in Australia.
