50 Cent: 'I want to work with Frank Ocean' - video

By
50 Cent has said that he would like to work with Frank Ocean.

While suggesting that the timing of Ocean's statement about his sexuality could have been "marketing", the rapper also told Digital Spy that he doesn't have a problem with the singer.

"He's cool. The 'Novocane' record was dope," 50 Cent said during promotion of his SMS headphones range.

"I don't have a problem with Frank Ocean. I think If you have a problem with Frank Ocean you should have had a problem with Luther Vandross.

"You should have had a problem with Kenny Green. It's not the first time a male RnB artist chose an alternative lifestyle.

"It's the first time they said it for the first time a week before the release of their record. That was a little weird."

After saying that he would like to collaborate with Rihanna, 50 Cent added: "I'd want to work with Frank Ocean. It's just content now. Because you just left that fresh on people's minds, now what is the song about?

"You know what I'm saying? When you did 'Novocane' it wasn't a love record. It was dope, just the music, the content.

"A lot of times people in the RnB cling to love. I get really excited when they make really strong efforts that don't actually have love involved, or relationship-based content."

50 Cent was speaking at The O2 in London, and his headphones are on sale now at O2.
