"The album is back to proper pop again," Keating said. "I've been working with the guys behind 'Life Is A Rollercoaster' again.

"I've been spending my time getting this album just right and I'm excited about people hearing it."

The collection is said to be guitar-led, with Keating describing the sound as having a "folk feel" earlier this year.

The album will be supported by a 14-date UK tour in early 2013, including a night at London's O2 Arena.

It's the Boyzone star's first solo album of original material in six years and serves as the follow-up to 2006's Bring You Home.
