Rebecca Black: 'I will make YouTube videos until I die'

By
Rebecca Black has vowed to continue making YouTube videos far into the future.

Black achieved global fame when she released 'Friday' on YouTube last spring. The track eventually attracted 167 million views and also reached the iTunes singles chart.

The singer told Billboard that she will continue to take advantage of the medium.

"For sure [I'll continue posting YouTube videos]. For sure. Until the day I die. Until the day I die," she insisted.

Black also confirmed that she is "just finishing up" her debut solo album, which she said includes tracks influenced by a variety of pop acts.

"I love Ed Sheeran," Black declared, adding: "I love Rihanna's album Talk That Talk and I also love The Black Keys."

She added of The Black Keys: "They are a little bit more alternative; they're not really on the radio but I love them."

Black has apparently been working on the as-yet-untitled disc for more than a year.
