Kelly Clarkson has performed a cover of Britney Spears's 'Everytime'.
The star sings a new, fan-requested cover at each of her shows and chose to take on the 2004 track in Las Vegas yesterday (July 27).
"This is my favourite part of the show because we do a fan request every show. Someone in this audience gets to pick what I sing. We've done everything from Katy Perry to Foo Fighters to Coldplay," Clarkson said.
"This song we learned today. I was so excited that somebody requested this song that I asked Jason my musical director to find a harpist.
"This is one of my favourite songs. I do it a little differently than her. I actually prefer [Spears's] version better, because it just sounds really sad, but I'm going to try to do it."
Clarkson previously tackled Spears's 'Til the World Ends'.
Her track 'Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)' recently became the best-selling single ever by an American Idol contestant, shifting 3,510,000 copies.
