Emeli Sandé, Arctic Monkeys hit iTunes chart after Olympics opener

Several tracks from the London 2012 Olympic Games opening ceremony have reached the iTunes downloads chart.

Shortly after the ceremony concluded on Friday night (July 27), the Isles of Wonder compilation was released online.

As of Sunday evening (July 29), Underworld's 'Caliban's Dream' - the soundtrack to the lighting of the Olympic cauldron featuring Alex Trimble on vocals - has reached number ten in the chart.

The Arctic Monkeys' cover of 'Come Together' by The Beatles has climbed to 16, while Emeli Sandé's rendition of 'Abide With Me' is at 31.

The London Symphony Orchestra's performance of 'Chariots of Fire' - conducted by Sir Simon Rattle - is currently at 45.

David Holmes has climbed to 48 with 'I Heard Wonders', while there are several entries for Dizzee Rascal's 'Bonkers' and Arctic Monkeys' 'I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor'.

The Isles of Wonder compilation landed at five in the UK albums chart earlier today (July 29).
