Amelia Lily: 'New album has dubstep, soul'

Amelia Lily has revealed that her debut album will contain a range of different sounds.

The singer said that the as-yet-untitled LP, which is due out in November, will surprise people with its eclectic range of genres.

She told Digital Spy: "There's a ballad on [the album] which I absolutely adore and it really shows the soul side to my voice.

"People think of me as a rock chick but people forget my first audition when I sung 'Piece Of My Heart'."

She continued: "There's a bit of dubstep on there as well which I think will surprise people! The sound is all over the place but I think the record works because we've only included songs that I really connected with."

Lily recently unveiled the music video for her first track 'You Bring Me Joy', which was produced by Girls Aloud hitmakers Xenomania.

She previously confessed that Katy Perry was her "girl crush", adding: "I really fancy [her]".
