Lily Allen hits out at NME

Pop singer Lily Allen has hit out at music magazine NME on her notorious MySpace blog.
She openly attacked this week's edition of the magazine, which features a 'Cool List' for 2006, and which was supposed to have her and a number of other female artists on the front cover.
She said, "I went to get a copy yesterday, and this is what we [the women] got. Another f***in' Muse cover.
"I don't really think that NME are in any position to tell us who is cool and who isn't. Personally I don't think that a bunch of people sitting in an office drinking tea inventing music genres and watching Nathan Barley DVDs are leading any kind of cool brigade, do you?"
Allen was ranked third in the list.
