Dion will send her first single taken from Water and a Flame to international radio by mid-September, according to her husband and manager René Angélil.
Water and a Flame will feature tracks written by Stevie Wonder, Ne-Yo, Babyface and Francis Eg White, including some covers that she has performed at her Las Vegas residency in Caesar Palace.
Dion's first single from her French-language album is titled 'Parler à mon père', and is a tribute to her late father who passed away in 2003.
Her Las Vegas show will be on a hiatus for "a few weeks" in autumn so that she can promote the new records.
Dion has recovered from a vocal cord injury she suffered earlier this year.
She recently paid homage to Adele by performing a cover of 'Rolling in the Deep' during one of her Las Vegas shows.
