The singer explained that spending time with the Irish band on tour in South America last year helped influence their upcoming LP The 2nd Law.

"We toured with U2 last year in South America. And there's definitely a little bit of influence come onto this album, a little bit of [1991 U2 album] Achtung Baby here and there," he told Classic Rock magazine.
Muse will release their latest record on October 1.
They have previously named dubstep producer Skrillex as a main influence on the LP.
Dark Knight Rises composer Hans Zimmer has also been revealed as an inspiration for the record.
Speaking about the album, Bellamy recently said: "Every song has been produced very specifically and differently to whatever is best for the song. I think it's definitely our most diverse album."
