Nas finds Kelis's green dress in 'Bye Baby' video trailer - watch

Nas has released a trailer for his new single 'Bye Baby'.

In the trailer, Nas reflects on his marriage to ex-wife Kelis, walking through his house only to find a part of her green wedding dress on the bed.



The wedding dress is also featured on the album cover.

"I found [the dress] in my house and thought, 'It's going somewhere'. Either on the cover of my album, or burning in a garbage can," Nas explained.

"Bye Baby/ I guess you know why I had to leave/ Seven months in your pregnancy about to have my seed/ Let's take it back some years/ Rewind it to the happy years," he raps on the track.

Nas and Kelis split in 2009, months after she had given birth to their first child.

'Bye Baby' is from the star's eleventh studio album, titled Life Is Good, which charted at number one on the US Billboard 200 when it was released in July 2011.
