The comeback boy band, comprising Gary Barlow, Jason Orange, Howard Donald and Mark Owen, made it to the top of last week's singles chart with 'Patience'.
“It’s curry night tonight," said Orange after the triumph, before commenting on his bandmates' Indian preferences. “Howard is the only real man of the band.
"You just have to look at him. He has a beard so he is a jalfrezi kind of a guy. Mark is more of a korma man.”
They have now started a campaign to make a similar impact on the album chart, with just-released Beautiful World. According to The Sun, the record is selling well, with 500,000 already shipped.
“We will do our best to knock Westlife off number one but it’s a tough job," explained Barlow. “They have sold so many albums it’s quite unbelievable.
“I don’t know who is buying it but we will do what we can to make ours number one," continued the singer. "Take That to the rescue? We’ll do what we can.”
