Mitt Romney's running mate Paul Ryan recently used 'We're Not Gonna Take It' in Pennsylvania, causing the band's frontman to air his disapproval.
"I emphatically denounce Paul Ryan's use of my band Twisted Sister's song 'We're Not Gonna Take It' in any capacity," Snider said in a statement.
"There is almost nothing he stands for that I agree with except the use of the [workout programme] P90X."
K'naan and Silversun Pickups have also recently denounced the Republican Party's campaign, which included the use of the latter's track 'Panic Switch'.
Rage Against the Machine's Tom Morello recently spoke out against Paul Ryan, after he discovered he was a fan of the band.
"He is the embodiment of the machine that our music has been raging against for two decades," Morello said.
"Ryan claims that he likes Rage's sound, but not the lyrics. Well, I don't care for Paul Ryan's sound or his lyrics."
Legendary actor and director Clint Eastwood recently endorsed Mitt Romney in this year's presidential race.
