Smoke & Jackal's first single 'No Tell' recently debuted on Radio 1, and a music video for the track is scheduled to premiere soon.

The musicians reportedly worked on the new EP at Brown's home studio in Nashville, Tennessee earlier this year.

"Coming together just worked," says Followill of the project.

"I think it's because we took such an easy approach to it, we didn't bring any egos to it. We just talked about each other's ideas, neither one of us got our feelings hurt. It just worked."

EP1 is due for release on October 15.
