Grimes debuts 'Genesis' video - watch

Grimes has released the music video for 'Genesis'.

In the clip, the Canadian artist sports a schoolgirl outfit and long blond pigtails, while a snake slithers around her in the back of a limousine.



The video, which Grimes directed, also features LA-based rapper Brooke Candy, wearing a silver futuristic-style costume with hot pink dreads and nails.

'Genesis' is from Grimes's third studio album Visions, released in January.

In July, Grimes made the shortlist for this year's Polaris Music Prize for Visions, which recognises the best full-length album released by Canadian artists.

The shortlist also included Drake, Feist, The Weeknd and Leonard Cohen.

Grimes toured Canada with Skrillex and Diplo in a private passenger train in July.
