The rapper's promoters have been targeted by bosses at the nightclub Exchange LA, after a $15,000 (£9,472) deal negotiated with Movement Management for a June 30 show was postponed due to Snoop Dogg's tour commitments in Europe.
According to TMZ, executives at Exchange LA are demanding a refund for their deposit, as well as $100,000 (£63,000) in damages.
Snoop Dogg, who recently announced his conversion to Rastafarianism, has not been named in the suit.
He is currently gearing up for the release of a new reggae-inspired album under the name Snoop Lion.
