Lemar debuts new single 'The First Time' - listen

Lemar has debuted his new single online.

The singer will release 'The First Time' as the second single to be lifted from his forthcoming album Invincible.



Lemar's new collection will serve as the follow-up to 2008's The Reason and will be released in the UK on October 8.

"There's definitely a rock element, and a few more guitars on this record, but it's much more kind of a singer-songwriter, deep lyrics album," Lemar told Digital Spy earlier this year.

"I've written quite a few of these songs around the guitar. I just found for me it's brought a different slant," he added.

"I find that when I write around the guitar sometimes, there's a different flavour. So on a few songs I've tried that, and on a few I've used some of the normal stuff."

Lemar's new single 'The First Time' will be available to download from October 7 and physically on October 8.
