The singer has updated her official website with new promotional images and indicated plans that fans will get to hear her new material before the end of 2012.

"How do y'all feel about me confirming a single for this year!!!!" Cyrus tweeted.
Cyrus has worked closely with US singer, producer and songwriter Pharrell Williams on the follow-up to 2010's Can't Be Tamed.
"Pharrell said, 'Don't be offended because this is how I talk, but [I thought], that bitch is actually living. She's not sitting there with her Momager's chain on her door. I want to free that bitch. I want her out of her cage'," she recently explained.
"I'd never worked like that before. I was talking to him like he was an older brother, and everything I said was going onto the track."
