Billie Joe joins U2 on 'Vertigo' tour

According to Gigwise, the Green Day frontman performed a live version of their joint charity single 'The Saint Are Coming' - only the second time he had done so.
U2 were also joined at one point by Eddie Vedder and Mike McCready from support act Pearl Jam who came on stage to perform a cover version of Neil Young's 'Rockin' In The Free World'.
The two bands had previously unveiled the track with changed lyrics at an anti-poverty rally in Australia last month.
