Lady GaGa smokes cannabis on stage during tour - video

Lady GaGa smoked cannabis during her 'Born This Way Ball' tour date in Amsterdam.

The singer was performing at the Ziggo Dome on Monday evening (September 17), when she started to smoke a spliff on stage.



GaGa told the crowd that Amsterdam was the "appropriate place" to talk about her passion for the drug, as it has effectively been decriminalised in the city.

"I want you to know it has totally changed my life and I've really cut down on drinking. It has been a totally spiritual experience for me with my music," GaGa claimed, according to The Sun.

The star then joked that she was going to talk to US President Barack Obama to get the drug legalised worldwide.

GaGa insisted that the marijuana leaf is the "new peace sign" and added: "It's like saying everybody needs to take a breath and it's going to be okay."

Lady GaGa will release her third studio album ARTPOP worldwide in 2013.
