The singer labelled the scheme " a disgrace", arguing that artists should meet the fans that support them for free rather than take their money.

"It's taking people's money for the sake of it. It's a disgrace," Example told the Daily Star. "Why should someone pay £200 to shake your hand and take a photo?
"I heard about one pop band charging £200 to meet 200 people after each gig, so they were getting £40,000 a night. That's outrageous."
He added: "If I see people on the street, I'll have a photo with them. If they wait outside a gig, I'll meet them."
Example's new single 'Say Nothing' is available to download now, while his upcoming album The Evolution of Man follows on November 18.
The star will also embark on a headline arena tour of the UK, which starts on February 11 at Bournemouth's BIC.
