The singer, whose new single 'Diamonds' is due to premiere on US radio on Wednesday, also posted a teaser image on her official Instagram account.
"#NaviLife #comingsoon http://rihanna7.com," she tweeted, along with a white-on-black image of her 'R' logo. She later added a second tweet to emphasise the web address: "--------> http://Rihanna7.com."
The logo, which Rihanna adopted during the campaign for her 2009 album Rated R, is composed of handwritten words and phrases that appear to hold significance for her, such as 'I'm a Roc Girl' (referencing her management company), 'Isis' (her new tattoo) and 'Diamonds' (the forthcoming lead single from her as-yet untitled seventh studio album). It is accompanied by the caption 'Coming soon'.
The subject matter and style of the forthcoming release are yet to be announced, but the inclusion of the words 'Heart Break', the number seven and 'What's love without a tragedy?' suggest that the LP may touch on events in the star's personal life.
Rihanna recently described 'Diamonds' as "laid-back but hopeful" and "a little different to what people would expect". She also revealed that she wanted to "surprise [fans] sonically" with the new record.
Rihanna is due to embark on a 'Diamonds' world tour in support of the LP, beginning with a show in Buffalo, New York on March 8. There are also rumours that she has collaborated with Ke$ha on a new track, after the 'Blow' singer tweeted a picture of an image of a lady holding Rihanna's trademark logo.
