One Direction: 'New album Take Me Home is way better than our debut'

By
One Direction's Niall Horan has claimed that their new album is "way better" than their 2011 debut.

The boyband will release their second studio collection Take Me Home in the UK on November 12 and a day later in the US.

"It's a million miles away from our old album," Horan is quoted by The Sun as saying. "It's a bit more of a live-sounding album. The drums are a bit harder."

He added: "When you make a second album, I think the thing to do is outdo your first one and personally I think we've done that. It's way better."

One Direction have been accused of copying elements of The Clash's classic hit 'Should I Stay or Should I Go?' on their new single 'Live While We're Young'.

Twitter users have pointed out the similarities between the opening bars of the latest cut after the song premiered last week.

'Live While We're Young' will be released digitally in the UK on September 30 and in the US on October 1.
