Justin Timberlake will perform with an unsigned artist at the next Grammy ceremony, thanks to a new competition.
The Recording Academy is searching for an unknown singer to perform with the star, and has invited hopefuls to submit a 60 second demo. The demo must feature one of nine Grammy-winning songs, chosen for the competition by Timberlake himself.
A panel of judges will choose 12 finalists, with the public then able to vote for three contenders. All three will attend the ceremony, with the winner being announced just moments before the performance.
The list of songs for audition tapes is as follows:
'If I Ain't Got You' - Alicia Keys
'Dance With My Father' - Luther Vandross
'Come to my Window' - Melissa Etheridge
'Cry Me A River' - Justin Timberlake
'Breathe' - Faith Hill
'What's Love Got to Do With It' - Tina Turner
'Respect' - Aretha Franklin
'I Wanna Dance With Somebody' - Whitney Houston
'Vision of Love' - Mariah Carey
