One Direction's Zayn Malik was cut off during a US radio interview after his label gave the presenter a list of rules.
The boyband member was scheduled to have a chat with radio station Hot 89.9 in support of the group's new single 'Live While We're Young'.
However, Malik's handler from One Direction's American record label gave the interviewer a list of banned questions before the ten-minute chat began.
Questions such as "What is your celebrity crush?" and "Who came up with the name One Direction?" were not allowed, prompting the presenter to cut the interview short.
"Okay, well that's about going to do it," the presenter said after asking no questions. "Thank you for taking the time for us today and I wish you continued success in the future."
One Direction's new album Take Me Home will be released in the UK on November 12 and the US a day later.
