According to the BBC, the singer was introduced by comedienne Catherine Tate, dressed in a nurses uniform.
Comics David Walliams and Ricky Gervais were also in the audience at Camden's Roundhouse venue.
The special concert was announced last month and was a way of Michael thanking the nurses who cared for his late mother.
He wrote on his website: "The nurses that helped my family at that time were incredible people, and I realised just how undervalued these amazing people are."
