The boyband's new single 'Live While We're Young' is just 250 copies in front of the Bajan's star's latest track 'Diamonds'.



Psy's viral hit 'Gangnam Style' falls to three, Ellie Goulding's 'Anything Could Happen' is a new entry at four and The Script fall to five with 'Hall Of Fame'.

Emeli Sandé's 'Read All About It' climbs seven places to 12, Nicki Minaj is at 20 with 'Va Va Voom' and Adele's 'I Can't Make You Love Me' is at 32.

Over on the album chart, Muse are on course to claim their fourth UK number one album with The 2nd Law after selling nearly 70,000 copies in two days.

Mumford & Sons have slipped to number two with Babel, while Pink remains at three with The Truth About Love.

The Overtones land at six with their new album Higher, Van Morrison is at 11 with Born To Sing: No Plan B and DJ Fresh is at 12 with Nextlevelism.
