Garth Brooks is to end his Las Vegas concert residency in November, it has been announced.

The country music legend has been performing at Wynn Las Vegas since 2009, but has now confirmed in a press release that there are just six more dates left in his deal.

He is to conclude his Las Vegas residency with two special shows on November 16 and 17.

Brooks stressed that he "thoroughly enjoyed" his time in Las Vegas over the last few years.

The singer is to be inducted into the prestigious Country Music Hall of Fame in an October 21 gala in Nashville.

Brooks has sold more than 128 million albums over the course of his career, making him second only to Elvis Presley as a solo artist.
