Chaka Khan has been announced as the replacement for James Brown's New Year's Eve concert this week.
The soul legend was due to play to a sell-out crowd at the BB King Blues Club in New York to see in the New Year, before he passed away earlier this week.
Now concert promoters have offered ticket holders an alternative night out at the same venue, with the R'n'B singer/songwriter scheduled to headline the evening, according to the New York Post.
Meanwhile, ticket holders for Brown's US tour - which was due to start last night - have been offered a full refund for their tickets.
