Britney Spears has announced that she is working on a new album and tour.
The singer started to rapidly lose fans after weeks of partying and bad press, but she has now promised to concentrate on her music and win back supporters.
"I am now more mature and feel like I am finally 'free'. I've been working so hard on this new album and I can't wait for you all to hear it and to go on tour again!" Spears explained in a message posted on her website.
Responding to recent criticism of the singer, Britney's manager Larry Rudolph said: "She understands what's going on right now, and she calls it her 'rocky moment'. Britney knows exactly what she needs to do."
