Arctic Monkeys have decided to experiment with a new sound for their second album.
Frontman Alex Turner has revealed that the group have implemented elements of dance and hip-hop music to the new tracks. The boys teamed up with music producer James Ford for the album and MC Dizzee Rascal appears on one song.
"We've tried to experiment. That's a bit of a dangerous word, but we've tried to push on with that," Alex told the Daily Star. "We ended up with breakbeats on the record. I've always been into beats. We were into that before we were into The Strokes.
"For the first album, we locked ourselves away, whereas this time we've been going out and stuff. I think that's reflected in the songs."
