Brit Awards snub for Robbie's 'Rudebox'?

Robbie Williams's controversial Rudebox album has been snubbed by Brit Awards bosses.

Although the nominations for this year's awards have not yet been officially announced, insiders claim that Robbie is not up for Best Male, Best British Album or Best Single for the first time in ten years. Instead, he has been nominated in the Best Live Act category.

A source told The Mirror: "A few years ago Robbie not being nominated would have been unthinkable - he had the Midas touch. But that's clearly deserted him and he's going to have a real struggle on his hands to regain his credibility."

Another insider added: "Rudebox has been an unmitigated disaster for Robbie and the record company. We knew things were bad but were hoping for at least one decent nomination from the Brits."

Rudebox was panned by critics and some fans when it was released last year. Robbie's former manager Nigel Martin Smith later forced him to change the lyrics to one song after claiming that they were libellous.
