Take That
The long list of musicians will take part in the Valentine's Day ceremony - to be the first broadcast live in nearly 20 years.
Peter Jamieson, chairman of Brits organiser the BPI, hailed the line-up. “Music is one of the things that the British do well," he commented. "But even by our standards 2006 was a great year.
"The Brit Awards will celebrate Britain’s love of music with a fantastic mix of UK and international artists. This is one of the strongest line-ups of performers ever at the Brit Awards.”
This year's performers will be Snow Patrol, Scissor Sisters, The Killers, Take That, Corinne Bailey Rae, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Amy Winehouse and Oasis.
