Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend were yesterday awarded a lifetime achievement award by the South Bank Show.
The Who members were among a number of winners at the awards announcement last night, with Amy Winehouse beating the Arctic Monkeys to best pop act, while United 93 won best film.
The best comedy award was a closely fought competition, but Sacha Baron Cohen's Borat movie beat Ricky Gervais' Extras to the prize.
