Stereophonics have released a preview of their new album.
The Welsh band unveiled a teaser trailer for their as-yet-untitled eighth studio album in the form of a short film directed by frontman Kelly Jones.
The clip, which is also an "appetiser" of a feature film written by Jones, includes a song from the follow-up to 2009's Keep Calm And Carry On called 'Violins And Tambourines'.
The new LP's songs have been inspired by Jones's upcoming movie, which is about two youngsters from a small town who run away and end up in the middle of Europe.
Speaking of the project, Jones said: "I've loved film and music ever since I was a kid. When I first started writing songs I realised they could paint pictures in your mind, which inevitably leads to telling stories.
"I've always wanted to combine them both. Directing for the first time with a fantastic crew and cast was a great experience."
The string sections on some of the new tracks were conducted by James Bond film composer David Arnold.
Jones recently revealed that Stereophonics have completed two albums' worth of material and are planning collaborations with Labrinth and Tinie Tempah.
