Kaiser Chiefs slate current guitar bands

The Kaiser Chiefs have criticised the current state of guitar bands, claiming the standard is way below that of previous generations.
Drummer Nick Hodgson is fed up with bands trying to replicate the likes of the Arctic Monkeys, and admits the industry chiefs are to blame.
“There’s so much s**t in guitar music at the moment," he told NME. "You imagine an A&R man seeing this bandwagon, jumping on it and signing any old s**t with a guitar around its neck."
He added that he did could see potential in some upcoming bands, and singled out Birmingham quintet The Twang as a glimmer of hope on the scene: “Arctic Monkeys were the last of the best and we need something else now to get us out of it. Maybe it’s The Twang.”
